Staying overnight in this glas dome gives you a very special experience. You get fantastic views and close contact with nature and wildlife.

The beautiful nature invites you to experience the rare, both on land and at sea. Sea fishing, paddling, hiking in the mountains by foot or on skis, and relaxing by the beautiful fjord.

The area is very well suited for unique experiences such as the northern lights and as a starting point for photo safaris.

Glass dome glamping

The glamping dome is located on a natural terrace with a lovely view east and south into Raftsundet. It just has to be experienced.

As a guest, you have access to a simple kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower. You can also wash your clothes during your stay.

The dome has furniture of a high standard with an integrated sound system and wireless charging of phones etc. It also has integrated advanced LED lighting for that very special atmosphere.

The glass dome is 22 m2, and the glass goes all the way down and is continuous around 360 degrees. In the glass dome there is a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed/cot.

The glass can be blinded with curtains all around for privacy or opened up as desired. Own electric curtain in the ceiling gives you the opportunity to open up to look at the northern lights and or the starry sky from the double bed.

The dome is heated or cooled, depending on the need throughout the seasons.

Raftsundet

Raftsundet has throughout the ages always been a particularly important part of the sailing route between north and south with a lot of associated history. Hence the name "norveien", Norwegen and Norway. Always fascinating to observe the heartbeat of the strait. We also use Raftsundet for wonderful sea experiences to and from the Trollfjord. The Hurtigruta also passes here twice a day right in front of you.

Holiday home within walking distance to the dome

You can also rent a 1940s house with a lot of soul where you get in touch with nature through floor-to-ceiling windows in all living areas. We renovated the house in 2020.

The kitchen is well equipped and the most delicious dishes can be prepared here.

The house is fully furnished and has a great view out to Raftsundet. Here you can enjoy the silence and the heartbeat of Raftsundet.
