Farming of Arctic charr has its tradition since the 1980s. The fish has its life races both in saltwater and freshwater and the farming method used take into account the fish`s natural life cycle. It is important that the fish develop well, and the high quality and the good taste is a result of that.
There are four different kinds of Sigerfjord Ishavsrøye Vesterålen; fermented fish, cold smoked- and hot smoked, and fresh fish.
