Kvitnes Farm Restaurant

We have a small restaurant with room for approximately 30 people. The chef of the restaurant is the well-known Halvar Ellingsen, one of Norway’s most prominent chefs. Previously he has worked for several of the finest restaurants in the country and been on the National Culinary team.

Here you have the possibility to taste the flavours of Vesterålen. The ingredients used are grown and gathered form the farm or bought from friends elsewhere in the region. In total we have about one acre of vegetable fields. There are also several animals living on the farm– sheep, pigs, cows and hens.

We have a passion for locally produced ingredients as we want to live at one with nature. The animals are walking in the yard, and we are happy to let you have a look in our vegetable fields.

In the weekends we offer a 20-25 course tasting menu. To complete the dining experience, we will compose a selection of European wines to compliment the flavours.

Sunday – Thursday from June 15 until the end of August, we offer a slightly different menu, where you can choose as many courses as you would like. The Ingredients are the same as on the tasting menu. At daytime, we have a café where we serve waffles, cake, coffee and juice.
