Visit our friendly library in Sortland Hotel. In Saabye's library you can find all works published by the author Lars Saabye Christensen. Be it all his novels, poetry, plays, films, music - including translations. All this is donated by Lars Saabye Christensen.
The well-known artist Nicolas Widerberg made the bust of Lars Saabye Christensen, that is placed in the library. The library was opened on 8 March 2008 by the author himself, and has since been a central part of the hotel.
We are serving dinner based on seasonal ingredients from Monday to Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00.
