Atelier Nøss is an artist run gallery and studio located in Nøss, a small village, along the scenic route on the westcoast of Andøya in Vesterålen.
About the Studio
The studio is housed in the farm where the artist Gunnar Tollefsen is born (1933) and grew up. Since 2005, the converted barn has served as the venue for a summer exhibition. The gallery is now also open upon request the rest of the year. We exhibit a wide specter of works, as paintings, sculptures, photo, textile, graphics art, literature and souvenirs.
The artists’ works, the old, renovated farm buildings, and the spectacular nature, is the mixture that makes our special atmosphere. In the summer season, we also offer you to sit down, and have cup of our excellent coffee or tea.
