The Inspector's Villa at Arctic Garden
In the historic Inspector’s Villa in Lødingen, you are surrounded by timeless elegance and quality. The villa features five rooms, each with its own name and a private bathroom styled in the 1920s aesthetic. The large surrounding garden is an oasis filled with arctic roses, beautiful plants, and birdlife. An experience not to be missed.
The rooms are located on the villa’s second floor, where there is a shared hallway equipped with a refrigerator.
All rooms feature high-quality double beds and amenities that make it easy to prepare your own breakfast (electric kettle, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, coffee, and tea). You can also ask the hosts to prepare a breakfast basket for you.
All rooms offer lovely views of the sea, the surrounding mountains, and the garden. One of the rooms even has a balcony, giving it the name "The Balcony." The other rooms are named "The Garden View," "The Beach View," "The White Dream," and "The High Sky."
The garden features a hot tub that can be heated upon request.
We also offer guided cruises on the Lødingen–Bognes ferry, walks along the beautiful beach just below the villa, visits to the Hjertholmen lighthouse, or mountain hikes in the local area, to name a few options.
An overview of further activities can be found here.
The Inspector's Villa in Lødingen is part of a historic triangle of buildings connected to the venerable history of the place. Lødingen was once the administrative center for all of Televerket's activities in Northern Norway, including Svalbard. More to read here.
An excellent choice whether you are planning a trip with friends, a family vacation, or a professional seminar with colleagues.
